The HDR employees have settled into their new headquarters in Aksarben Village! The construction of the new headquarters has been in process since 2015, but the finished space is high tech with smart lighting, elevators and the latest storage solutions! FlowCARE partnered with Midwest Storage Solutions to provide HDR employees with durable cabinets for their drawings and work.
HDR's new headquarters is over 254,721 square-feet with smart elevators that audibly confirms for riders the floor they’ve arrived on. The sensors on the roof will lower shades inside the office if there is too much lighting coming into the building. Other spaces are designed with modern technology and innovation, along with green strategies set in place! The wait of this building seems to be worth it all!
FlowCARE installed KUL HD cabinets for the new headquarters with the help of our partner, Midwest Storage Solutions. These cabinets are manufactured right here in Omaha with top-of-the-line architecture and design industry designs. The company was searching for storage that would be able to hold all of their architectural drawings, artwork and pieces inside one central location.
In the future, the plan is to transform the first floor into a space for retail and restaurants. This is part of the Aksarben Village development plan that has been in talks recently.
The FlowCARE team decided that KUL HD cabinets were the best solutions for the space. This is because the cabinets are 42” wide and 42” deep with six heavy duty drawers that each hold up to 480 pounds of materials! That is one heavy duty storage system.
There are three solutions that the cabinets come in: high pressure laminate, thermofused laminate and solid color. The high pressure laminate is the strongest material offered out of the three because of its record with being durable. The thermofused laminate is a classic wood grain look and provides just as much durability as the others, but with a different style choice. The HDR team decided on white for their solid color which is durable but made with sustainable materials to continue the “green” theme throughout the entire building.
This was a groundbreaking installation for both FlowCARE and Midwest Storage Solutions!
FlowCARE is looking forward to working with Midwest Storage Solutions on other installation throughout the area and surround areas. For this cabinet or any other nurse server cabinets that are provided by FlowCARE, contact us today!
